Very comfortable and a beautiful view of the bay. Close to Washington Island ferry where we spent an entire day and easily got back in time for dinner in Sisters Bay.
We loved staying at the north end of the peninsula and enjoyed our stay.
The innkeeper had snacks and drinks available in the great room for everyone to enjoy and a cozy fire that was welcome at the end of a windy day outside.
We LOVED this property. GREAT location, at the north end of the peninsula, less congested than the other towns, yet super-easy to get to everywhere. Fabulous sunset views right from our unit! Fire in the fire ring out front every night, gorgeous big trees, fully equipped kitchen and great room…..just can’t say enough good!

The Innkeeper Kristine greeted us about 30 minutes after we arrived and gave us a tour of the property with some of it's history. She hosted a happy hour with wine and snacks and then started a fire in the firepit for us. Had a great time! It was just what we were looking for, a quiet location away from the more populated tourist areas.
Quiet and peaceful atmosphere can unwind without being disturbed.
Although there is a small countertop with microwave and sink it should be mentioned that dinnerware, eating utensils, are not provided. Also should have handicap bars in bathroom by toilets since they are low profile and difficult for adults to get off without something to grab
Stay was pleasant and would recommend for couples as there is no activities for young children.
The location worked well for our interests in the area. We took advantage of the firepit and chairs for seating around the firepit.
We will stay again.
Very nice property. Beautiful area with a great view. I had a fantastic experience and I will definitely look in to staying here again on my next trip.
The Harbor Light Inn is situated directly across the street from the water. If you're looking for a beach, you can walk about 50 feet down from the Inn to a little park, and if you want to put in a boat, the marina is right there.
The Commodore was our room, and we had a great little place to journal or watch the sun set from our bay window. Our innkeeper was very friendly and helpful. Make sure you give your cell phone, not a home phone land line (if you have one) since that will be the way that you open your room door when you arrive. (Minor oops on our part!)
This place is perfectly located to get to the ferry on the "curvy road"/Hwy 42, and located just far enough away from the madness of the other towns (think Sister Bay) to be able to visit Al Johnson's for breakfast if you want, but not to have to hear cars and motorboats early or late. Plenty of parks, both state and county are around, and the inn also has a complete kitchen, dining area and great room to sit and read, play games or snuggle in if the weather turns.
For the money, this was EXACTLY what we wanted. The place is very quiet, super cute!!! and has a nice view. 110% would stay here again without a 2nd thought. We travel a lot and this was as good as it gets for our expectations.
I had a very peaceful stay and found the room cozy. All the other guests were extremely quiet and barely noticed that anyone else was staying there. The area is beautiful and would consider staying here again.
Love the location like that it’s quiet works perfect for us every time we come up to the area. Have a small coffee pot refrigerator microwave TV that we never use everything we need for a quick weekend getaway. Thank you!!
We stayed in Troll Cottage, which was a pleasant surprise and perfect for our little family. It was cozy and clean and had everything we needed. The staff was helpful and friendly. We loved being away from the busier spots like Sister Bay or Ephraim. Beautiful views! Would definitely stay there again!
Excellent stay in the lighthouse/Moonraker. Great accommodations. Very clean and well organized. Eric, manager, very helpful.
Can't wait to visit again!

Great view of water. Unit was clean and self check in and check was great.
This hotel was so calm and surrounded by such a natural beauty that my family loved this place! I already referred this hotel to all my friends and would suggest the same to all who are planning to visit Door County!
