“Absolute gem of a place. Sarah is very hospitable and has all the amenities you need for a stay. The room was lovely and clean and breakfast was superb. We loved our stay and would love to come back one day thank you.”

“Will not be returning, staff not helpful at all, dog friendly but couldn’t even let the dog have a sausage at breakfast as they had ran out, they had also ran out of biscuits for the room, garden peas and orange juice. Not a cheap nights stay so these things should not be running out!! Best staff were the morning we were leaving, had they had been on all weekend it would have made it a more pleasant stay”

“A splendid setting for a comfortable overnight stay and enjoyable breakfast. Although they do not cater for evening meals, we were directed to the Joiner's Arms restaurant a mile away that provided a nice meal with pleasant atmosphere.”

“Hotel correcto”

“Recommend. Would stay again definitely”

“Fabulous bed and breakfast with superb food - a huge and delicious breakfast. All food in the restaurant was amazing. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely comfortable and clean room and very comfortable bed. Loved our stay here. Train station is less than a 5 minute walk away.”

“Recently completed refurbishment to a high standard of finish, with ample space and facilities.”

“Lovely room in the detached cottage. Nice garden to sit in. Nice breakfast and helpful staff”

“Excellent location, shops and amenities on the doorstep. Clean, tidy room with good setting to make your stay comfortable as possible.”

“Lovely room, perfect for relaxing after a day out walking. Chosen because it was dog friendly and it did not disappoint - good for walking into town and loved that there was a map showing us how to get there by avoiding the main road. Breakfasts were delicious! Thank you for our stay.”
