Large and confortable beds. Easy to find. Great breakfast with a good variety. Something we did not like was the poor sound insulation of the ceiling. We could hear every step from the guests above us took.

Really enjoyed our 3 day stay at this quaint, private small hotel. At first it might not look like much... but the rooms were recently renovated and super nice and pretty clean. We felt safe, it was quiet almost all nights. Breakfast was really good. And all the staff we encountered were helpful and kind. It is a little far from some of the places we had on our WV list to explore, however, it's in a beautiful part of the state, lots of stores close by, and for the price point it was great! Definitely would stay again!

Disliked: Staff & service
Staff was not present when we arrived and was not friendly once they showed up. Room was clean with the exception of finding dirty towel in the bathroom. Air conditioning and heat worked well, with no musty order. Breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon was not very good. Pasty and muffins were okay. Coffee was good and hot. Quiet surroundings made for a good nights sleep.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Amenities
Altho very small, our room was clean and was adequate. The heating/cooling unit worked fine, the microwave, tv and mini fridge worked fine as well. The only major drawback was we were put in a separate building that sat below the main hotel. Because if this we eother had to walk or drive to get breakfast and or the pool. Also, the wifi di not work at all in these lower rooms and I coukd not get any cell reception at all in the room. Which was a huge pain when trying to plan routes, look at restaurants or even contact family members. If traveling for business I would not have been able to stay at this hotel so make sure when you book you ask to be in the main building.

Room was very clean and looked nice. It had a full size fridge, kitchen sink, cook top and plenty of cabinets. Living room and desk area on one side and beds/bathroom on the other. Only complaint is the only TV is on the living room side. Also if traveling with children u should be aware it is only a standup shower, no tub. Close to plenty of restaurants and stores. Pool was heated and very nice, warm towels in there too. Front lobby has snacks and drinks for sake that are a fair price for being at a hotel. Staff was super friendly
