Roundtrip land transfers from Lio Airport (El Nido) to El Nido Pier and roundtrip boat transfers from El Nido Pier to the resort are included in the room rate; transfers are arranged by the property. Cauayan Boutique Private Island operates on a set schedule for boat transfers between Lio Airport, El Nido Port, and the resort. Transfer arrangements are coordinated by the property for arriving and departing guests. Arrival transfers from Lio Airport to Cauayan Resort are available at 7:30-8 AM, 10:30-11 AM, 12:30-1 PM, 2:30-3 PM, and 4:30-5 PM. Departure transfers from Cauayan Resort to Lio Airport are available at 5:30-6 AM, 9-9:30 AM, 10:30-11 AM, 1-1:30 PM, and 2:30-3 PM. To guarantee transfers, guests must provide flight details at least 48 hours before the expected arrival date. Arrivals or departures outside of the published transfer schedule may incur additional charges for private van and boat service.

Book this resort ! Yes it is expensive but the experience is first class! The staff are amazing and so very attentive, bar staff were amazing and attentive, food was top notch and our beach front villa amazing! Housekeeping came twice a day and really did a phenomenal job! Cauayan is top notch from pick up in El Nido to the return to El Nido . Spa ladies were great and our 2 hour massages so amazing! Resort offers free kayaking and mask and snorkels to use during your stay!

Superior service everywhere. Fabulous location. Well-designed resort atea and grounds. Room was reasonably spacious & plenty comfortable. Food was good but not exceptional; as such, prices of food & drinks were unreasonably high for what was offered. As example: my son ordered a burger for dinner; charge that was listed on check came out to almost USD$30(!!) as VAT and service charges are all automatically added Also: be aware generally of lots of extra charges. We had booked our travel through Expedia, which had labeled the room as for 3 people. When we arrived at resort, front desk said the booking was listed as for 2 people & then insisted that we pay an extra >$100 per night (a not-insignificant sum)

The staff was amazing, always friendly and helpful. The villas were very enjoyable. We loved our two bedroom villa with private pool. The restaurant had a good variety of options. Make sure to book tours and spa treatments. We were lucky to get them in but should have checked ahead of time. The resort is very relaxing.

This is a report on a private island. Resort was very natural. Restaurant and bar service was good. Many food choices and all food was good. The pool deck needs to be refinished as wood was splintering. Very friendly staff and beautiful scenery. We enjoyed the stay at this property.

Amazing stay

We had an amazing time at the Cauayan. We loved everything about it, the setting, the outstanding level of service, the nature surrounding it, the privacy. I particularly loved seeing turtles and baby sharks while snorkelling on the beach. We had two wonderful day trips to the nearby attractions and beauty spots and did some diving. Jeremiah deserves a special mention for making our trips even more enjoyable. We rarely go back to the same place, but the Cauayan might just become an exception.

Our stay at Cauayan was truly exceptional. The pre-arrival communication was smooth and efficient, and the airport transfer was seamless. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The resort gives you a feel of the Philippines with its hut villas. The people are the pride of this resort. They are friendly, courteous and kind. The tour, boat and land transfers are very well coordinated. The food is great. They offer a diverse selection of food. We had their signature massage as well. And it is heavenly.
