“We had a “cosy” room which was fine in terms of size for what we needed. However the room was right at the back of the building and accessed via 7 sets of stairs (6 up and 1 down) and 6 fire doors. As we were taken further and further into the warren we started laughing it was so ridiculous! It was also over the open entrance to the adjacent pub, The Harbour Inn. “Our room was up several sets of stairs, but as a result had a magnificent view of the port. Since the room was in the roof cavity it had low oak beams and the internal stairs were a potential risk when going to the bathroom at night, but it was lovely to be in a property with such character.”
