This is a great spot for a sleepy traveler just getting into Edibrugh. I stayed here as a solo female and felt very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite basic but its got all you need. Make sure to check out the pub!!

Good quiet location . A nice pub/restaurant with rooms which were clean. Comfy bedding and beautiful luxurious towels. We ate both evenings in the restaurant , food was good and reasonably priced. A good location for a short stay at 20 mins from the airport

I loved staying in Riccarton. The area was peaceful and the inn had good food, clean rooms, and the bus was practically on their doorstep. Very convenient out of city center accomadation.

Didn’t expect or need the “accessible room” but the shower chair helped when I was shaving my legs. Comfy bed but pillows a bit firm for my liking - no selection all 4 the same. Cosy room & coffee/kettle very useful along with single sachet 2 biscuits for a pre bed cuppa. Lovely friendly staff & able to check-out using lock box to return keys. Only thing I’d mention is with it being an accessible room ud think the door could open sufficiently for a wheelchair or someone using crutches (physio head here doing critical review) but otherwise totally pleasant and suitable for my location needs. Will likely stay again.

If you need a place to stay to catch a next day flight this is a good place. Don't expect luxury, you can't beat the price compared to other hotels motels around Edinburgh. The place is attached to a pub/restaurant that has excellent food and drinks.

I've got to say, for the price this place was excellent and my room was more than adequate for a three night stay. The bar staff were hospitalitable and the local cafe (5 minutes away) was the perfect spot for breakfast before heading into town. I was bit emotional when I left as that Inn had done me proud. Will look for this lovely pub again the next time I visit Edinburgh!

Stayed at the Riccarton Inn on Friday night and had a great experience. The room was excellent—comfortable, clean, and well presented. The food and drink in the bar area were brilliant, with a really good atmosphere to relax in after a long day. Service was friendly and efficient throughout. Location-wise, it’s ideal—especially if you’re a parkrun tourist. Being so close to the local route made it the perfect base for the weekend. Would definitely stay again.
