Location is good. Price is good. Matras is good. Room not very clean. Found clothes from previous guest in our room. Breakfast staff looked overwhelmed, tables were not allocated, we had to find one by ourselves, tables were not cleaned quickly so a line of people waiting for breakfast was formed.

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like about this hotel perfect, The train or tram station just across the road with only 1 station between Edinburgh Park and Waverley station central Edinburgh. Restaurant food and breakfast we couldn’t expect anything more, really good. Plenty of payed parking £5 for 24hrs choose how many days you’re staying. Room quiet, air-conditioned. There is one thing we don’t like and it’s common to all accommodation in the UK and Europe, Duvet’s (Doona)are to hot, In winter the heaters are on and summer not needed, Manytimes this is an issue talking to other tourists. I wish for top sheet with blanket only.

The property was overall clean and staff was welcoming. We booked a triple room but was only given a double room. We had to ask for bedding for the single bed and had to make the bed ourselves. We were also only given one towel for three people. The room was okay for a budget hotel.

Situated right by the train and tram line, this Premier Inn was an ideal base for exploring Edinburgh. For those with a car, there is a reasonable car park. There is a restaurant in the hotel. Traveling across the station bridge, there is a modern outlet style mall with various stores including a Tesco and some fast food restaurants.

I was pleasantly surprised at the hotel as a whole. I was not expecting it to be as nice as it was, for the price point. The staff was welcoming and helpful, the room was very clean and had extra pillows on hand (a must for a pillow goblin like me!), and the whole experience was a great start to our trip to Scotland. The restaurant was also fantastic, with great food and lovely wait staff. I give this place 10/10 stars.

Ok hotel

Hotel is OK, restaurant and food are OK as well. Modestly priced restaurant that would not break the bank. Right next to the train station so if you can figure out the schedule and have the time to wait, good option for getting into downtown.
