The rooms are clean but small. We had issues with the temperature (it was hot and stuffy and the heating unit wouldn’t go any lower) and the lighting (no option for light in the bathroom without the whole room being lit up) but for a one night stay it was fine! Staff were friendly and helpful with luggage storage and the hotel has a great location - close to Waverley Station and just below the Royal Mile.

Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was small but well thought out and big enough for two to get ready for bed and sleep. The room and hallway were very quiet at night. The air conditioning was broken and room was very stuffy. Staff provided a small fan but the temperature was uncomfortable. Breakfast was great with enough choices for everyone.

The room was clean and yes quite small, but functional enough. We didn’t spend much time in the room as we were too busy seeing the sights! You’re paying for the location, but the bed was comfy and shower was hot. Could have used more towels and pillows but it was great.
