I didn’t realize that the hotel was a great distance outside of Edinburgh. On the other hand, it was much closer to the airport. It had a very nice pool, which was the main reason I chose it.

We stayed here because our tour was departing from here the next day and we were unfamiliar with the city. The hotel, and particularly the staff, were lovely. The price for the room was horrendous! So much that I’m embarrassed to admit how much I spent.

The hotel foyer and amenities were very good. Breakfast was great. Bus stops very nearby. The bathroom of the room was outdated and the tiles in the shower/bath could have been replaced as the grout was stained by mildew. The beds were also very hard!

Great location, about 8 minutes from the airport. Staff was very kind and was able to check us in early. Beds were uncomfortable but rooms had working ac. Parking is free and a big lot. Gas station and bus stop right across the street.

So... all the staff at this hotel are wonderful, helpful and kind. The breakfast in the morning is good, and we ate supper twice at the hotel restaurant and it was great. The actual hotel room however...not great. Standard room was incredibly small, with a small window, loose tap, leaking bathtub, thin duvet, odd sheets, and I had to plug the TV and lamps in? Location for airport is good, but a bit far out for popping into town. Nearby Morrison's and mall is helpful.

Very good hotel with good housekeeping. Very friendly staff and nice amenities such as the pool/sauna area incl vapor sauna. About 20 mins from the old town area, which we found all ok (car or bus easy access). The Delta hotel accepted a small pet which is a clear positive aspect in an environment of ever increasing rejection of pets. Recommended.

The reception staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. My room was spacious, well-maintained, and comfortable. Getting into the center of Edinburgh was a breeze, with a bus stop right outside the hotel. I dined in the hotel restaurant that evening—wonderful waiting staff and a great experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be returning!
