We appreciated the location which provided great walkability to all interesting points. We enjoyed the restaurant and had a delicious gourmet dinner. We had a pleasant respite in the bar and my husband enjoyed the pool, sauna, and steam room. Our room was comfortable and I appreciated the big soaker bathtub.

Excellent location, walking distance to most places we wanted to go including the Royal Mile, Princes Street, Stockbridge, Holyrood House, National museum of Scotland, national galleries, Scot Monument, the list goes on. Hotel was excellent for breakfast and we had an evening meal on one of the nights which was also excellent. Bar has a nice ambience and staff very attentive. The room itself was so clean and bed extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend.

It was perfect to stay here in a very busy August 2026. No need for jumpers this year! We never even looked at the pool as we were enjoying being out and about watching fringe ‘things’. Great location and lovely staff, Really appreciated the air con and the fluffy bath towels. Very comfortable bed. The bistro looked amazing but the breakfast was just OK. Didn’t care much for the coffee machine and the choice of pastries was limited, especially with such wonderful bakery’s on the door step.
