We had a lovely room with a lot of natural light.. curved windows with shutters. Comfortable bed and pillows. I would have loved having more fruits for breakfast… personal preference Wonderful outdoor seating.. The staff were attentive and very helpful.

Gorgeous property and friendly staff (and guests). The beds were incredibly comfortable, with multiple pillows to suit varying tastes. Breakfast: so plentiful that we didn't eat again until late afternoon. Baked goods were exceptional. Parking was so easy. Walking distance to downtown sites is very short. I would stay here again any time!

The best amenity was the sound machine as the walls were quite thin! Of course we just laughed at the sounds/ noises from behind the wall of the Navigator room! You just have to have sense of humor in life!! There were several slamming doors throughout the night in the hallway making it seem like your room was being opened.The staff, breakfast were great. We really needed new towels if staying 2 days but all in all lovely atmosphere, the pergolas were a nice relaxing point same as the stunning Capt’s Quarters porch.Loved it❤️Would definitly stay again. Loved the sweet charming southern accents. The decor absolutely stunning and comfortable.

Great communication with the place. House and room were clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom. Enjoyed the snacks in the room. Breakfast was very good and very friendly staff. Our room was spotless and everyone was very nice. The breakfast was excellent with home baked starters and your choice of eggs or the special. You can park your car and walk to shops and restaurants and lots of historic sights. Or you can just take walks and admire the beautiful homes and architecture. Can't wait to stay there again.

The House is an authentic 1907 home in great condition. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is great. And it is really well located so that you can easily walk to the waterfront, 2 Main St., into the historic district. We had a great time.
