“Great stay however the rooms were not overly clean. It seems housecleaning need to rush to get rooms ready and do a basic wipe over, but it is not really to the standard expected of a 4star hotel. Hotel staff were friendly and grounds and common areas were very nice. Food a little disappointing (plates hot but breakfast not). With some attention to detail this property would be really good 😊”

“Hotel looked great online and like a 1970s holiday camp when we arrived with metal staircases and chalet rooms
We also had a lovely guest decide to smash the room up under us and threaten everyone police called not 1 member of staff checking anyone was ok
Breakfast was awful all in all never to be repeated again”

“Beautiful property in a beautiful village. Very large beer garden, large bathroom with a bath (instead of a standard shower). They provided a fan to partially compensate for lack of A/C (during a record breaking heatwave), but wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if ever in South Yorkshire. Easy FREE parking.”

“Very basic, clean but small. We stayed here due to an event at Sheffield Arena, otherwise we’d have chosen somewhere else.
Something to note parking is £9 and is valid from check-in until 12 the next day only”

“Hotel was nice and modern, clean and the staff were very helpful. Good selection at breakfast but did have to wait for items to be replenished. Hotel is close to bus routes so easy access into Sheffield”
