Lovely sea view bedroom comfy bed and good breakfast. Even though very busy the restaurant staff coped well and looked after some elderly guests very well. A great place to stay.

Nice property. They advertised beach front but the room had terrible views. But no complains for a nights stay. Staff was exceptional. Great service Especially the restaurant staff. Was late for dinner and although they closed the manager lady kept the place open for us to order and eat. Was impressed by that service. True hospitality.

Lovely helpful friendly staff, spacious comfortable public lounges, beautiful room (we had a superior sea view), very good breakfast - lots of choices of food & all good quality; nice spacious dining room. We ate in the restaurant one night and it was the best meal I’ve had for ages - I had halibut with delicious accompaniments. The shower in the en suite was an over-bath one which is probably due to the age of the hotel, and it had lots of handles to hold on to and a non-slip surface in the bath; but because of our age and lack of mobility a walk-in shower would have been preferable. Having one at home spoils us! The hotel generally and our room were spotlessly clean; however there was a brown stain at the back of the toilet which was a bit off-putting, though it was probably just discolouration. I think a new toilet pan would be a good idea - this is the only reason I have given the hotel 4 stars for cleanliness rather than 5 stars. Over all we really enjoyed our 3 night stay, would definitely come again and also would definitely recommend it to others.

Check in was straightforward and by very helpful staff. Our room (309) was spacious with a huge bed, two arm chairs in bay window and sea views. Wet room was ideal and spacious, water was very hot, trust the sticker by the shower controls. All the staff we met were friendly and approachable. Breakfast was full of options to suit most palates . Evening food in the 1912 was very tasty and well presented. A great break for my birthday weekend.
