“This is a great venue if you wish to be off grid lifestyle. For us it didn’t quite meet our needs as our dog couldn’t manage the staircase & although we thought we had a shower and separate bathroom we only had a bath. Hot water is at a premium here we found & lacking in water pressure. But truly a great venue if you wish to unplug, & chill. One recommendation I would make, to help dogs relax. “Property has been upgraded downstairs and the restaurant and bar area are lovely as is the outside courtyard. When you go upstairs it’s apparent that an upgrade is still required. Our room - 3 - overlooked a very busy main road and the secondary double glazing did nothing to keep the constant traffic noise at bay. There are two windows in that’s room. And they are old and rotten. Triple glazed windows required. Carpets need replacing. Bathroom has been upgraded and is very pleasant but b&b...

“Lovely stay this week in the massive family room. 4 singles and one double bed in the room and it still felt very spacious. There was also a cupboard with hangers, a fan, tea/coffee making facilities and a huge fridge which came in very handy. Complimentary bottled water was also provided and again was much appreciated given the hot weather. The en-suite bathroom had an electric shower over the bath. It wasn’t very strong but the water was always hot. Enjoyed a cooked breakfast every morning in...

“The room was clean. The bathroom a little inconvenient (especially the shower, which is hard to use without spraying everywhere). The staff are very pleasant. The breakfast is not great, especially if you choose the non full english breakfast options.”

“I really enjoyed my stay at this establishment, everything was just how you would want it. Very helpful staff at check in, lovely room with a seaview, comfy bed, great shower. Breakfast was lovely, as was the lady serving it. I was checked out by one of the owners, who was very friendly and helpful. So I can highly recommend The Two Lifeboats!”
