“Quiet and well appointed room. Great breakfast.”

“Lovely property, very friendly hostess and a smashing breakfast! Super stay thanks!”

“Staff extremely pleasant and helpful - food and amenities were really good”

“The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food and beer is good and great value. Parking is a bit tight, so arrive early if you are checking in! If you want to eat, make sure you reserve a table. We found out the hard way on Saturday lunchtime that you can't always get a meal, even if you are a resident. Other than that, it's a good place to stay. It's quiet at night due to the location and the fact that the bar isn't open until late.”

The Lady of the house is a charming individual who was welcoming. The breakfast catered for dietary needs and was wholesome. In general a comfortable stay with no frills, but enjoyable none the less. We would use Bridge Cottage again if we visited the area.”

I did not go on a bus mans holiday to make beds I do that at home. The food was very good at breakfast. My room was well used. Toilet seat would not stay up and blind needed replacing. I was in room 2.”

It was a relaxing environment to start the day, especially chatting about Art. We have learned so much about Sculpture and certain Sculptors after our...
