Fun boutique hotel with friendly staff. Awesome vibe in the evenings in their reception/bar/outside garden area, where guests and locals both mingle. We enjoyed relaxing here with the complimentary beer/wine after a day of hiking. Free breakfast is basic but a nice touch too. Our room was very comfortable.

We enjoyed everything about our stay at The Rochester Hotel. The property has so much charm, the rooms were incredibly comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location is unbeatable for exploring downtown. Even had a late night guest (Big buck) pay us a visit outside our room (105). We wouldn't change a thing and will definitely be back!

Such a lovely stay at the Rochester. We had a large king bed room on the second floor. Very quiet and comfortable. Location is great for walking to dinner and Durango Silverton train depot. Staff was exceptionally nice and always greeted us by name. The garden is a gem and the included breakfast is so much more than just local pastries.

Adorable hotel with a B&B feel. Was greeted with smiling staff and a cocktail. The location is in the heart of Durango. You can walk to anything downtown. The products in the bathroom were top notch. The bed was so comfortable. I appreciated the friendly staff and yummy breakfast.

Staying at the Rochester was a highlight of our trip. The staff is incredibly helpful and nice, the accommodations are comfortable, clean, and conveniently located a block from downtown Durango. The outdoor garden space was our favorite shady hangout spot to sip on the delicious cocktails and mocktails from the bar.

I will definitely return! I’ve already told family about it! The staff were wonderful, breakfast was fresh and tasty//not like a typical powdered eggs breakfast//yogurt, locally made fresh pasties, berries! The style of the place was darling//mid center modern with just so much class. Great location too just a block or two off the main drag that has tons of good shopping and restaurants! Amazing find!

Eli was amazing at getting us settled and situated in Durango. The town is very walkable and hotel is very centrally located. I love the morning coffee, fruit and pastry spread. Beds were like sleeping on a cloud! So comfy.

We stayed one night on a Friday and checking in was a little hectic! No registration desk. We wondered around and another guest told us you check in at the bar. The bar was crowded due to a wedding party! We waited several minutes with all our bags and had to stand in line where people were ordering drinks to register and get our room information! Hotel was very nice and quaint but was crowded and noisy from the wedding party. I’m sure on any other day we would have had a different experience. Beds were comfortable and room was great. They probably need to rethink check in process.
