A nicely renovated 1950s style roadside motel, just north of downtown. The room was in excellent condition, the staff were helpful, and the in-room pourover coffee gave the best cup I’ve had in years from a reasonably priced hotel.

office staff was very helpful getting me checked in when I was in horrific pain and did not want to walk a few steps and anxious to help me when I had a question. Love the cute coffee pot with wonderful coffee. Love the ease of parking and though it is near main street it was quiet.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at the Siesta Motel in Durango. The room was very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out, with convenient accommodations and amenities that made our stay easy and relaxing. We especially loved the locally sourced coffee provided for guests—it was such a nice touch! The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the whole place had a comfortable, quaint charm. It honestly didn’t feel like staying in a typical motel or hotel; it felt more like an Airbnb, with all the thoughtful personal touches that made the stay feel welcoming and homey. This motel had a very Homie and connected vibe. People were outside their hotel rooms barbecuing and chatting! I loved the coffee set up which was a pour over with great coffee. Attention to detail in this hotel room was so surprising. Bed was comfortable. April was friendly and helpful. I would absolutely come back to this hotel when I return to Durango.

The Siesta motel was wonderful! Everything in the room was spotless and comfortable, and the quality of the amenities offered was very high. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice everything was. The friendly relaxed atmosphere of the staff contributes to the very excellent vibe this place offers. The bed was good, the linens were great, and the room was big enough without being too big. The outdoor sitting area was delightful. Can’t praise it highly enough.
