Staff kind, room clean but very old, unfinished but a place to stay. It’s a small town and it was nice to have a haven near by after wedding party so we didn’t need to drive miles! We would stay again if the venue was in this town.

Spotless room and friendly staff. Although the property is not new by any means, it’s very obvious that management makes a concerted effort to maintain everything well. The breakfast room was cheerful and welcoming. Great value. Appreciated easy access on and off to the major highway.

Parking was easy, there is plenty of room and ample spaces. Staff was friendly and professional. Room temperature was adjustable and comfortable. The room was not well cleaned. The comforter had stains. There were bugs on the floor near the base of the bed. There were coffee stains on the floor. There was a used shower face towel hanging in the shower. The toilet bowl and bottom of seat was dirty. There was an opened and used bar soap at the sink. My wife was not happy and I think I could have done a decent job cleaning it myself if given the opportunity. She asked the staff if they could clean the room after staying the first night. They were pleasant and told us they would do a deep clean. However, upon returning to the room it was in the same condition with a dirty toilet and floor. The used soap was still at the sink. It did not appear that cleaning had taken place.

I liked the convenience of getting to this location. I was coming from Imlay City which is very close to I-69. This made it easy to get on 69 to Durand. This place is also fairly close to I-75. The price was good too for an overnight stay.

Parking was convenient as was the closeness of our room for letting out our dog. But the heat was off when we arrived and took a minute to warm up. Not the cleanest room or the most updated hotel but worked for what we needed. The staff was super nice. We left for an event and worried we hadn’t pulled the door closed. They were sweet to walk down and make sure for us. On that note, the doors in hotels tend to fully close and click without extra effort. We prefer that security of that type of door- while we are distracted with bags and the dog to not also have to pull it and click it.
