“Could not sleep as room was far to hot at night with no air conditioning”

“Just stayed at the E&C for an overnight in Holmfirth. Room was spot on no issues really, a little dusty in places but nothing to worry about. We enjoyed our stay in the village and the pub was perfectly located with lovely little bars just down the road. We had breakfast too and this was lovely, we were asked what time we would like it as it's all cooked fresh, at 9:30 it was there beautifully cooked, perfect. We only had one drink in the bar at the end of the night but there was a band on, and...

“Nice and fresh room. Lovely staff. Extra milk/tea/coffee on corridor table and toothbrushes for those who require them. Dog bowls, treats and blankets if bringing your pooch. Food was lovely.”

“Exceeded expectations all round. Unusual for uk pub bedrooms.. air conditioning! lovely bedroom above the pub, well appointed, comfortable and quiet once closed. New Owners Becks and Tony super helpful and welcoming. Pub itself also great. Will definitely be back in the future”

“Beautiful property in a beautiful village. Very large beer garden, large bathroom with a bath (instead of a standard shower). They provided a fan to partially compensate for lack of A/C (during a record breaking heatwave), but wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if ever in South Yorkshire. Easy FREE parking.”
