We stayed for one night before our flight from Edinburgh because we couldn’t find anywhere under £200 because of The fringe and Bon jovi playing. We are so glad we stayed . The nicest staff who couldn’t do enough for you ! Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom, shower all ticked the boxes . We didn’t eat in the restaurant but drank in the bar , talking to friendly locals . Because we had an early flight we missed out on breakfast, however we were given a bag each containing a sandwich, crisps , an apple and water ! Which we were most grateful for . Highly recommend this place and would stay again .

Property and room were really clean, well presented and exceeded our expectations. Free breakfast included which was decent enough. What let it down… one was the shower, it was very old even though the bathroom was modern, it was barely a trickle and I really struggled to wash the shower gel off under it. Two… the window should have opened fully but our room 208 the catch wouldn’t release and the room was very warm & sleep was a bit uncomfortable due to this. Three… only 2 teabags in the room, no coffee at all. In all still welcoming though and we would stay there again if needed in the future.

We had an excellent stay at the Adamson. The resteraunt and bar facilities were great. The room was clean and tidy. The one negative was the shower pressure which was extremely low. This didn't detract from our stay and we would definitely book again

There was plenty of parking. Lovely greeting from all the staff wherever you went. The room was fine , lovely big bathroom but the shower hose needed a good clean and the drain needs sorting to speed up the drainage as you stand in water for a long time. Firm bed but pillows a bit flat. Breakfast was fine. Bananas, individual yoghurt pots and croissants would have made my day. The restaurant was lovely as was the food for evening meal. Good value stay

We got this room at a bargain price and just expected somewhere cheap and cheerful to lay our heads. I was so pleasantly surprised. The room was impeccably clean. The beds extremely comfortable and I liked how the single bed was hidden away from the double. The hotel was very well maintained. The lobby leading up to the rooms was however unbearably hot which meant our room was quite warm. Due to being near a through road we could not leave the windows open due to the traffic noise. This is the only slight negative in an otherwise perfect stay. Highly recommend, will book again if in the area.

Fantastic stay - perfect for an overnight before a flight. Super helpful service and nice comfy and clean room. Reception staff kindly refunded breakfast cost when we checked in as they could not accommodate a ‘to go’ option that day, but they said they would have been able to if we requested in advance.

I stay here frequently and have no complaints. It’s comfortable, clean, good breakfast. Note to the manager - room 216 - get a MIRROR in it! I mentioned it to staff and they said they get lots of complaints about it! So sort it!! There’s a DIY store just along the road!!
