Place is new, modern and clean. Staff needs better management. I called to request a steamer and was told I had to get it from the front desk. Once I get there they couldn’t find the steamers and said they would arrange for someone to bring one to our room. We requested extra towels and that also took at least half an hour to arrive. Staff were on their personal phones, some had a very unprofessional, unkept appearance. The cafe was okay. One barista was great but the next night a different person made our drinks and it was not the same. Pastries were not that good. But they had a nice, large seating area and board games. The gym was also nice. It had enough equipment for a good workout. We did have an uncomfortable experience with a housekeeper who seemed to be lurking and watching through the glass door. This is about a 30min drive to downtown Galena. Would be nice if they had chargers for electric vehicles.

We stayed here for our 1-year wedding anniversary, and let me tell you, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay extra special! A few days before our arrival, they even helped me coordinate a flower delivery to our room, which made for such a sweet surprise. We also had dinner at Lock 11, and that was an experience in itself. The attention to detail and the way they made our dinner feel so special and memorable really stood out. The location was perfect for us, with plenty to do and see nearby. Yes, there was still some construction going on outside at Q Casino and behind the hotel, but honestly, we had no issues with noise or anything else during our stay. Overall, we had such a wonderful experience and would absolutely come back. 10/10!

The bathroom was not clean. Staff was rude. Coffee pot in room did not work. There was no water for a Hilton honors member. There was no refrigerator in the room. Its been some time since I'e had such a bad experience at a Hilton hotel.
