The room was nice. I have 11 kids and finding staff that doesn't roll their eyes when you make a request is difficult. Whether it's for extra towels or pillows, they were quite accommodating. The kids got to enjoy the pool, and I had a great night's sleep.

The pool area was really nice. We had a lot of fun. The rooms were ok. Just normal rooms. I liked the temperature on the wall. Bathroom could've been a little updated. And the breakfast was not very good. And it was HOT everywhere. I would go back for the pool area. But that's about it.

It was clean. We were there Fri-Mon and never had any maid service. No garbage dumped, beds made, new towels, etc. When we called to ask for clean towels we were told to come down to the front desk to get them. Front desk staff that checked us out didn't even ask how our stay was or say thank you or anything--I don't think he even said a single word-just printed the receipt that I had asked for, We were 4 adults and didn't use the pool area, but it had ping pong, arcade games, etc which would be fun for kids. Breakfast was in the pool area--so very steamy and had the chlorine smell as you were eating. For us, it definitely wasn't worth the price. Next time we are in Dubuque we will stay elsewhere.

Loved this place! The sunshine and warmth in the solarium made me feel like we left the Midwest for spring break! The seating around the pool and pool and ping pong tables were nice when the kids wanted a break from the pool. Our room was clean and the coffee machine in the lobby was an added bonus.
