The hotel has a lovely relaxed ‘holiday’ feel to it. The location is great and a quick bus ride gets you to Dubrovnik old town. The views and sunsets are beautiful. The breakfast and evening meal buffet were excellent. The staff were helpful and polite. Would thoroughly recommend!

Stunning views from the property. Staff was friendly and helpful. For the bad, the pools close too early (8pm) in the summer. A vending machine and ice machine would be helpful, especially when people try to adjust to the time zone and get hungry after hours.

The room was clean and a good size, breakfast was buffet style and had enough choices for everyone. The pools were great, although some people do tend to put towels down and disappear for the day, but the towel guy didn’t have a problem with removing these towels if there wear no more beds available. Great location for the bus into town, shops and restaurants nearby were ok but not many. Lapad has many restaurants. Great base for relaxing. Would stay again

Valamar Argosy was an amazing resort. The staff were always attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The food at the buffet and pool bar was very good. The room was cleaned very well each day from housekeeping. Also the pool and beach access was very nice too. Although it is far from old town, there were always Ubers available or the bus stop that has a direct route to old town. We would definitely recommend this resort to anyone staying in Dubrovnik. Simply perfect.

What an absolutely gorgeous hotel and wonderful stay I had. The pool area and views are lovely, especially at sunset. Rooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast buffet has plenty of options and everything was tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Food and drinks were good but expensive. The view by the pools and restaurants were amazing, especially at sunset. Staff were friendly as well. Room was clean but had a musty smell coming from the air conditioning, the maintenance staff said it was clean so all we could do was open the door to let fresh air in. It did seem like the hotel wasn’t equipped enough for how many people there were - never enough sunbeds available, breakfast always super crowded unless you go in the first hour and a half, etc.
