The room was very clean and equipped with everything that was needed for our duration of the trip! Located up north about 20 minute walk from center Dublin. The only issue we had was the shower either having scalding hot water or antarctica ice water - No issues due to the room, just think it maybe due to hot water boiler. Other then the shower couldn't have gotten a more comfortable stay!

Great place to sleep in Dublin for a night or two. Room was huge - there were 2 of us but it could have slept 6! It was about a 20 minute walk to the centre which was perfect for exploring and the price was excellent compared to other hotels. It was self-check-in so we didn't see any staff.

Lovely big room

Room was v big and clean and perfect location, was minutes from everything. Price is brilliant. Only thing was the lack of hot water even when following the instructions given; we managed given only the short stay but was a bit annoying. Not noisy at night at all.

My stay was okay. I enjoy my time visiting Dublin because my stay is close to the city centre. What I dont like is how inconvenient that your check out time is 10 am and the cleaners are very busy cleaning the only dorm room at around 9. You are pressured to pack and leave and since the place is too tight, there's no other area to go but the dining area.

We had a double room in this hostel, it was ok. The only downside of the room was the lack of blinds, allowing a lot of light coming in from early in the morning, but since we spent o ly 1 night it hasn't been a major issue. The huge downside was the surrounding area. Dirty and generally unsafe. I wouldn't recommend it to girls or even couples. It should be fine for a group of lads, but you never know.

KGT house was pretty ok. The beds were comfy answer wifi. They seemed pretty disorganized, and they didn't seem to know who I was when I got there from Expedia. It did feel secure. And I didn't have any problem with People there. It's just not a four or five star facility. The food was pretty meager for the nine euros And I found a full breakfast for only two euros more down the street. I'd still stay there again if it was just me, but not with kids.

Questionable if sheets were cleaned between use, as there was a copious about of black lint on every bed, and multiple strands of hair everywhere on the sheets. In addition, there was NO HOT WATER, and we went in January. The instructions say to flip the switch for 15 mins for hot water, and hot water never came. Neighborhood is extremely walkable and tourist friendly for public transport, but there are also many other hotels in the area.

This place could be perfect for some people. If you are looking for a decent room with no frills, if you are an experienced traveler, & if you can sleep regardless of noise, light & comfort then this is a good budget option in a good location. It did not work out for me. The check-in process & lack of staff is disorienting for an inexperienced traveler who just got off a long flight. Although the room was larger than I expected & had a nice layout, the beds, pillows & towels were all uncomfortable & could be much cleaner considering the used band aid that was in my bed & the heavy dust buildup on many surfaces. The TV did not work but I did not report it because I had another way to watch TV. The sound from outside was the worst part, people outside having yelling 24hrs a day in addition to the road noise & ambulances. I understand the hotel can't fully control this, but I have some suggestions that might help. It is very stuffy in the rooms & opening the window for air makes the sound so much worse, so equipping each room with a fan would help circulate air & provide some white noise to drown out the outside. The windows at the top are unusable anyway, so why not put some sound proofing over them? And then add some very thick heavy blackout curtains to drown out more sound and light. I think these things (and some new pillows) would vastly improve people's ability to get a good night's sleep which is really the only thing you need to provide.

The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Shower was hot. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Easy to find and close to the places we wanted to see. Kitchen facilities were good. We only used the fridge. We would stay again.
