I booked this hotel because we had a flight out of Dublin the next morning. This hotel is nit direct access from the motorway. While the outside and lobby look nice, the room was okay with a broken fan (no A/C) and the tv would not access any channels. The breakfast was good, and the restaurant in which we ate dinner

We had a wonderful stay at Castleknock Hotel. The staff were welcoming and attentive, the room was clean and well-kept, and the overall facilities (including the dining options and leisure areas) were very good. Breakfast was enjoyable and the location worked well for us.The only disappointment was the view from our room — it overlooked the trash receptacles outside. It was a bit of an eyesore when we looked out the window. Everything else about the stay was excellent, and that was truly the only downside. We would still recommend the hotel and would consider staying again (hopefully with a better view next time).

This property is absolutely beautiful. The breakfast that was included with our hotel room was delicious. Every single person that works at this hotel is so kind and helpful from the security guards to the weight staff as well as the front desk. The only thing we didn’t know is that we got a room that did not have air-conditioning, but it was not too warm. They also also offered us fans. I would definitely stay here again. We loved getting in the hot tub and watching everyone swim and utilize the wet and dry saunas.

Room was dated and very very hot. Cheap fan not effective and eas only 20 degrees outside. Beds not comfortable. General areas including restaurants, bar area and reception were lovely. Pool disappointing as a middle section was laned off making the rest feel very small. Jacuzzi had far too much chlorine which actually stung your eyes. Disappointing stay for money paid.

Staff was amazing. Could not have asked for nicer people and the property is very well maintained. Location is a bit outside of Dublin so $40 rides will be in your future. Some rooms do not have A/C but the property provides a fan to help keep your room cool.

All the staff were friendly and informative about the facilities as well as other logistics. The rooms were bright, clean and spacious. Was very grateful for the upgrade to a quieter part of the hotel after experiencing excessive noise outside of the first room. The upgraded room was larger and quieter where rest was appreciated. The hotel hosts a number of events including weddings and a variety of celebrations. It was very active over the weekend with a lot of people and beautiful fancy costumes to admire. The amenities were nice with staff assisting with anything one might need including towels. Using the pool in the early morning or later in the evening outside of children swim times was quieter. The sauna, steam and whirlpool were all in good working order. The gym equipment and workout room seemed to be in full use, especially with it being a membership facility for those living in the neighbourhood. The spa treatments were nice with friendly staff and a bonus having a separate rest room to recover in. Good to book those in advance with all the hotels events going on. The restaurant and bar facilities were well stocked with a variety to choose from. The sitting area in the lobby seemed to have a continuous flow of people, especially for dinner or the music they provided on the weekend. Breakfast buffet was abundant offering food varieties for all appetites. The area was nice to walk around, yet one would benefit having a vehicle there for ease of getting around.
