A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. Woke up to birdsong and quiet , and a great breakfast in their large conservatory. Service excellent and helpful. Only point of note is if you wish to dine in their partner (next door) restaurant , best to reserve in advance , as it was fully booked (despite being almost empty!) at 630pm. But- more choice available in nearby Doué-la-Fontaine about 10 mins drive . Would thoroughly recommend this family run hotel as a stop-off on the long drive south from Calais, or for short excursions into the Saumur area.

Un accueil bien agréable ! nous y sommes resté 2 nuits en fin de compte ! nous avons pu constaté le 2eme jours ou nous avons pris le petit dejeuner, que celui ci etait tres varié copieux ! le service à votre écoute tres sympatique avec un super sens de l'accueil !çela fait plaisir d'avoir de jeunes personnes au sourire aux lÚvres! exemple à suivre petite parenthÚse! trÚs bon séjour aux prochains visiteurs !

Chambre proposĂ© wc et douche pas de fenĂȘtre mais Ă©clairĂ© par une simple applique alimenter par des piles ? Étape d’une nuit

Nous avons sĂ©journĂ© en couple pour une nuit dans une chambre avec vue sur la piscine. Bassin qui a Ă©tĂ© salvateur, compte tenu des chaleurs excessives pour un week-end de mai, on a pu s’y rafraĂźchir tout autant que profiter de la terrasse ombragĂ©e. Le petit dĂ©jeuner est trĂšs complet et si un quelconque Ă©lĂ©ment vient Ă  manquer, le serveur se fait un plaisir d’en remettre Ă  disposition. Le cadre (vĂ©randa) et la musique sont trĂšs apprĂ©ciables Notre petit moins aura Ă©tĂ© la chaleur assommante dans le bĂątiment mais nous avons rĂ©ussi Ă  crĂ©er un courant d’air en ouvrant nos fenĂȘtres dans la nuit, sans pour autant subir de bruit liĂ© Ă  la route, donc tout petit moins. Nous n’avons pas testĂ© le bistrot, ayant prĂ©fĂ©rĂ© le routier d’à cĂŽtĂ© ( trĂšs chouette aussi ) mais des amis croisĂ©s sur le parking de l’hĂŽtel nous l’ont chaudement recommandĂ©, une prochaine fois peut-ĂȘtre.

. Pour un trois Ă©toiles il manque un mini bar et la climatisation surtout pour une chambre confort .. sinon pour le plus la piscine est petite mais mĂ©rite d ĂȘtre lĂ  .. petit dĂ©jeuner rien Ă  dire .. attention le restaurant est Ă  cĂŽtĂ© et fermĂ© le dimanche soir

Petit déjeuner mesquin pour le prix plus de vienoiseries que ce soit à 8 ou 9 heures fruits pommes et orange pas de saison !. Peignoir déchiré dans la chambre. Joints noircis. Sinon personnel aimable, lits confortables chambre propre.
