Wonderful view from our room located on the top floor of the hotel. We had the opportunity to bathe in the sea salt swimming pool and benefit from the hammam and sauna. Very well located with a direct access to the beach.

Service is not as expected

We had two rooms. The location is good but the service is a bit slow and it would be nice to have more details about the use of the spa before one books the hotel. The reception needs to work more on the communication with the clients.

If you like swimming in the sea, this hotel is for you! It is located directly at the beach, just walk out and swim. People are very friendly. Breakfast is tasty and you have a lot of choices. You can walk to Douarnenez. And you can find many nice places to eat in walking distance.

Unfortunately the front desk staff has an attitude, and bizarrely, apparently they lied to several guest by saying hat the restaurant was full; but when we came back in the evening, we saw the restaurant almost empty, the waiters confirmed the restaurant had not been full at all, rather the opposite. and then we witnessed another guest complaining at the front desk for the same thing, it appeared they had been lied to as well. An older man at the front desk does have a nasty attitude, and is followed by an older female colleague who does the same. The establishment is let down by run down facilities, some areas really are not clean, terrasses, bathroom screens and corners in our room, the terrasse screen..covered in bird s... fortunately we only paid for one night, so we will quickly forget this experience. The town also has an eerie feel, and the locals do not seem to value tourism here.

Incompétence

Nous avons Ă©tĂ© trĂšs déçu par la compĂ©tence des personnes responsables de l'accueil et des problĂšmes de communication entre elles dans cet hĂŽtel 4 Ă©toiles. J'avais rĂ©servĂ© 2 chambres par l'intermĂ©diaire de leur partenaire "hĂŽtels.com", une pour ma Maman de 91 ans et une autre pour ma sƓur et moi. A notre arrivĂ©e, une seule chambre Ă©tait rĂ©servĂ©e. J'avais pourtant la preuve de mes 2 rĂ©servations sur l'application "hĂŽtels.com". L'hĂŽtesse d'accueil, a essayĂ© de me donner des explications complĂštement saugrenues Ă  ce problĂšme, en rejetant la faute sur moi et en m'affirmant que j'avais annulĂ© la rĂ©servation d'une des chambres. Elle a fini par nous trouver une autre chambre, mais le tarif annoncĂ© pour les deux chambres Ă©tait passĂ© de 1370€ (tarif annoncĂ© par " hĂŽtels.com) Ă  1980€, soit environ 600€ de plus sur un sĂ©jour de 4 jours pour 2 chambres !! ComplĂštement abasourdie par cette annonce, je n'ai pas dormi de la nuit et le lendemain matin, je suis retournĂ©e Ă  l'accueil pour Ă©lucider ce problĂšme de rĂ©servation et ce surcoĂ»t disproportionnĂ©, alors que je n'y Ă©tais pour rien. AprĂšs avoir fourni Ă  nouveau toutes les preuves de ma rĂ©servation confirmĂ©e et ayant une autre hĂŽtesse d'accueil en face de moi, Ă  priori plus expĂ©rimentĂ©e, j'ai fini par avoir gain de cause. Au moment de rĂ©gler en fin de sĂ©jour, le tarif n'Ă©tait toujours pas le bon, et il a encore fallu que je parlemente avec encore une autre hĂŽtesse d'accueil ( trĂšs gentille et comprĂ©hensive) pour rĂ©parer l'erreur.

Pas digne d’un 4 Ă©toiles

Nous avons Ă©tĂ© de dĂ©ception en dĂ©ception. Tout a commencĂ© par la chambre vue mer. Au premier Ă©tage, c’est plutĂŽt une vue sur les toits avec un bout de mer en fond de panorama. Nous avons ensuite Ă©tĂ© au spa marin. Nous sommes plus proche d’une piscine municipale que d’un spa. Pour nous remonter le moral, nous avons Ă©tĂ© Ă  la tisanerie. Nous avons encore Ă©tĂ© déçus car aucune place n’était disponible pour s’installer sur un transat Direction le bar de l’hĂŽtel pour prendre un petit remontant. La porte du bar restaurant Ă©tait fermĂ©e. Le Personnel Ă©tait en train de manger. À quelle heure prendre l’apĂ©ritif si ce n’est avant le repas du soir ? Nous avons fini par prendre notre cocktail en chambre. Le petit dĂ©jeuner Ă©tait convenable, mais aucune attention particuliĂšre en terme de dressage de table ou de service. N’avons pas l’habitude de mettre des commentaires, mais nous les utilisons souvent. C’est donc exceptionnellement que nous en mettons un pour Ă©viter que d’autres personnes soient déçu comme nous l’avons Ă©tĂ©.
