Love the airplane in the front lawn! Nice continental breakfast! The pool area was wonderful! Relaxing back patio. Large, clean rooms. Close to the town of Dodgeville, The House on the Rock, and beautiful countryside roads!

This place is hilarious. You don't stay here for an updated room. You stay here because it is a relic and who knows how much longer you'll get the chance to experience the wonder that is the Don Q Inn! The pool was so cool! There's a swim through channel from the inside to the outside! The hot tub was also wonderful. The bananas at the breakfast bar were perfect. We stayed in a themed room! Personally, I would not stay here in a standard room if you want to get the whole experience. This place is charming. We loved it.

The place is old. Rooms need remodeled. The bathroom tub had a 12"x6" piece of white acrylic missing on the inside wall of the tub that looked like tan spilled paint. Bathroom door is the original steel door from the 60s or 70s. Refrigerator sitting on top of dresser. 24" Tv sitting on top of the other dresser. Beds were nice. Breakfast OK. Pool hot tub OK.

This place needs an overhaul. Faucets were pitted out and rusting. One sink without a stopper. Bedet leaked water constantly. The fake tile around the hot tub was completely wore and its cardboard backing was wearing through. Use real tile please! The carpeting in the lobby, breakfast area and the hallways were old and dirty and badly in need of replacement. Our bed was comfortable.

It may not be fancy or state of the art but we had a wonderful stay! The room was comfortable and clean. We didnt use the in room hot tub but the pool and jacuzzi were perfect as well. Very short drive from House on a rock.

The Don Q Inn is a very unique place to stay. We chose it because it was close to The House on the Rock and well priced. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were traveling and arrived at almost midnight. They had no problem waiting for us to check in, we just called to notify them. The rooms were clean, if outdated, but everything worked well. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. We felt safe while we were there and met nice people who were also traveling. We would definitely stay again for the price and for the vibes. The plane was cool to see and we would want to check out the themed rooms!

The staff were friendly. It's an old building but very clean. There is whimsy everywhere you turn, which keeps me coming back. The only issue that I've ever had is that the pillows are flat.
