Vacations Close To Discovery Center of Idaho

The hotel is great 1970's retro and the owners have clearly decided not to spend another penny on keeping it up. The hallway carpets were criss-crossed with duct tape to keep them from shredding apart and the stairway carpets were caked with grime. Thankfully the bathroom was decently clean, but that was after asking to change rooms because the air conditioner was grinding so loudly that we couldn't sleep. I felt sorry for the staff and even sorrier for a great hotel design left to decay.

We very much liked this old-school hotel. Great location walkable to all of downtown Boise, super nice staff, and a charming place. I’d opt for a 3rd or 4th floor room next time for a little more quiet but the little noise we did hear wasn’t bad, no problem sleeping. We’ll stay here again.

We had a great one night stay. Super clean place, beds super comfortable and the staff super nice. Loved the bar too

HOTEL 43 SAVED OUR ANNIVERSARY! Clean, modern, welcoming and comfortable! We had drinks and a few appetizers at Chandlers next door, fabulous!! We will stay there again. But… We were originally book at Red Lion down the street, it was SOOO GROSS AND DEPLORABLE CONDITIONS.
