We had a great stay in the primrose room. Room large and clean with comfortable bed. Big bathroom with two sinks and separate tub and shower. The property is in a very quiet location with a couple of great shops a block away and the main town and harbor just a 5 min walk. Great parking on site was a major plus. Breakfast was very good as well. This is where we’ll be staying on any future stays in Dingle.

We (2 couples) stayed at Emlagh House for 3 nights. It was our favourite accommodation in a 3 week trip around Ireland. The location is perfect, a 5 minute walk to town. The rooms were very spacious with lovely views, and had air conditioning - rare for Ireland but as Australians a must when the weather is warmer and humid. Beds were king size and super comfortable. Breakfast was delightful and the common areas, especially the conservatory, were a great spot for a pre or post dinner drink and chat. Most importantly, the service from the staff was excellent. Many thanks to Peggy, Susie and Mary who made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

Great location, spacious rooms. Staff was very accommodating. Be aware a day in Ireland starts later (8:00) so it’s difficult to get an early start. Breakfast was outstanding. Other amenities (snacks, refreshments) were just “ok”.

Our stay at Emlagh house was the highlight of our trip! It’s perfectly decorated, and situated very close to town. We booked one of the very spacious luxury double rooms. We loved that it had AC, which is not so common in Dingle or Ireland. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, they make you feel so welcome and at home. We would love to come back again soon!

The breakfast was one of the best we had in Ireland. The staff was also extremely friendly. They were very knowledgeable about the area and very caring. My only suggestion would be to change the carpet out for a more sustainable floor such as vinyl wood flooring as some carpet had stains on it but that is hard to avoid on white carpet. Another thing would be to put a fresh coat of paint on the walls as well as this would freshen up the place also. Overall a very comfortable and safe place to stay. I would stay here again definitely, but if those changes were made I definitely would be willing to spend more per night for my stay.

The place to stay in Dingle

Great hotel with lots of character in Dingle. Beautiful grounds, convenient location, comfortable rooms, friendly staff and an amazing breakfast in the lovely dining room (included with the room). A short distance from the touristy areas of Dingle but close enough to easily walk to pubs and restaurants. On-site parking. Highly recommend!
