“A flashback to the heyday of Americana, the Motel concept. While staying here for the second time in as many years I have noted that our European friends stay here to a get the vibe of all the American movies they have seen from that era. Great community family-friendly; after-all it is where Welches grape juice is made. Plus awesome Italian food is located downtown.”

“The staff were very friendly and treated you like family more than just guests. For a hotel near the lake, it wasn't a bad stay. Our room was clean enough where we felt comfortable staying. It was damp feeling when we first arrived but again, we were staying by the lake. We stayed for two nights and they offered a "grab and go" breakfast which was simple things like coffee, cereal, toast and pre packaged breakfast pastries. “Very comfortable. Room was exceptionally clean. Breakfast was adequate but could take away the processed food and put out more fresh food, such as scrambled eggs ,sausage or bacon. I know it is continental, but I believe they could do better, especially with their baked goods, pastries. They must have an established bakery near by. It’s obvious that they come from a box store.”
