Was a nice place to stay except for no pool or hot tub and people above us I swear the enjoyed walking like a cow. Breakfast was ok but the waffles were amazing. I would recommend they keep the coffee hot and the hot water hot too that they have out 24/7 Also being on the third floor it took forever to get hot water

Breakfast was included in room. Lots of free parking. So easy to get to DTW; just turn right out of the parking lot and stay on the road. It goes directly to McNamara terminal first, then Evans. Free shuttle service.

We had a quick stay after landing in Detroit at midnight and the hotel was a perfect place to crash! The beds were super comfortable and having two queens and a sleeper sofa was amazing with the kids, everyone had plenty of space! The breakfast was great, typical for a hotel and the gym and pool were handy. Overall it was great!

It was relatively clean with a couple exception. Hair in the shower and stains on the trundle mattress. The shower didn’t have a rubber lip on the bottom so there was no stopping the water from leaking out of the opening at underneath the shower door. It was A LOT of water. I asked the front desk to document the leak so not as to be charged for any damages and to see if they could have someone take a look at it. Not to anyone’s surprise but no one came to look at it. Had to use like all the towels to keep the water off of the carpet to avoid mildew smell and hang the towels up to dry everyday. Breakfast was just OK as expected, your standard American Inn breakfast. Besides that it wasn’t a bad stay. The UPSIDE is that they have a strict no animal policy which was the whole reason I stayed here. I don’t want to have to deal with dog smell, dog hair on my pillows etc. the staff were pleasant and polite.

We arrived at 1 am. There was no water in the lobby because the fridge was broken. In the rooms we could only get hot water out of either sink. So, I got my clothes back on & walked around at 2 a.m. looking for a way to get water to drink. There was a drinking fountain near the bathrooms so I cleaned off the part where people put their mouths and filled up my glass. That was good water. I didn't much care for having to use a key to get the lights on. But it was ok. I appreciated having the shuttle! The night auditor at the front desk was very helpful & friendly when we arrived. Breakfast was good.
