“After an initial booking problem, the hotel owner Mr Doğan and hotel manager Mr Açıkgöz did their best to accommodate us and provided an interim solution for the first night and two nice rooms for the second. The hotel facilities are great for families and the private beach at the lake is perfect for a morning swim. Great sunset views for dinner in the hotel restaurant. Would come back again if we were to stay in Van.”

“We’ve stayed there for 4 nights. It is not a real 5-star hotel. There was no soap, toothpaste and other things in the bathroom. Staff were really pushy. While checking out we were asked whether we had used anything from the minibar or not. When we said no they answered,”you used one item (in fact emphasized) and they showed us an unpacked chips pocket!!! When we said no they used a very offensive body language! Although they accepted finally and didn’t charge us, it was terrible behavior....
