A great location, close to Denali Park but far enough from the crowds. The daily breakfast was a great help and the facilities and staff were excellent. This one is a no brainer if staying near Denali. Dining at the golf course, Rosie's cafe and the 49th state Brewery were also fantastic and very convenient.

Room was clean and comfortable. In the small refrigerator there were two hardboiled eggs, yogurt, and granola bars. Nice not having to find a place for breakfast. There is a meeting room down the hall with extra coffee and I think there was cereal available also. Outside of that room is a nice deck area with tables and chairs. Nice quiet place to spend a couple of nights.

The room was clean and comfortable. I did tell them about a couple of minor repairs and they fixed them immediately. Air conditioning would have been nice. Even though it is Alaska, they do get warm weather. A hot breakfast would have been nice.

Our rooms were booked in the building adjacent to the main building and lobby. The rooms were adequate and clean, although the decor was dated. We enjoyed the common area along with the outdoor seating area. However, there was a strange and rather offensive odor in the lobby and hallway.

This was my kind of lodging and I felt it was the perfect place to stay near Denali. Spacious room, very clean and well appointed, window looked out only on woods, good bathroom with sink area separate, comfortable bed. There was even a nutritious breakfast bowl in our refrig every morning. The staff were all extremely accomodating and we made many requests of them. They were always gracious and dropped what they were doing to meet our requests. There was an option each night of a 10% discount on a nice, but casual dinner at their sister property's restaurant nearby. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This little lodge was a great and affordable home base from which to explore Denali NP. Rooms were big and clean. The front desk attendant kindly lent us her bear spray so we could hike safely. The staff left mini breakfasts (boiled eggs, juice, granola bars, etc.) in our rooms each day -- a super thoughtful tough. Overall a great stay and would recommend for those wanting affordable lodging close to Denali

Great location about 20 minutes from Denali Park visitor center and only 1 mile from the 49th St. brew pub. Check-in was easy and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. We booked a suite room, which was in the one story building that had a great deck, looking out over the trees. The amenities were nice, especially the breakfast bowls in the fridge each morning. A very pleasant stay!
