An exceptional stay at Discovery Hotel Davao. The resort is beautiful, the staff were warm and attentive, and the dining experience was outstanding. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully prepared—you can truly tell the chef takes pride in his craft. A wonderful experience from start to finish. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Clean spacious room with nice toiletries. Food was very good, breakfast buffet and the two other restaurants we ate at. check in and check out process was a long wait because only two people handling guests. reception area was Very warm. shuttle from room to reception area where the beach and restaurants were located is somewhat inconvenient. overall a very good experience but far from perfect. good for a night stay as there really isn't much to do.

My family and I loved this resort and used almost all of their activities. The location, food, and service quality makes it a 10/10. Many activities to choose from, we did the banana boat, jet ski, pools and photo shoot with the clear canoe. It was a standalone Boracay! The staff is awesome, aside from taking your orders, they point out things to do to make your stay more enjoyable, where to take instagramable pics, offer breads to feed fish so they gather around you. They go above and beyond! We’ll definitely go back.

The resort was clean, and the views were beautiful. However, one major disappointment was that guests are not allowed to swim at the beach after 6:00 PM. Since the weather during the day can be extremely hot, many people would prefer to enjoy the beach later in the evening when it’s cooler. The biggest letdown, though, was the food. During our two-night stay, we didn’t have a single meal that we truly enjoyed. The food was significantly overpriced, which I wouldn’t have minded if the quality had matched the price—but unfortunately, it didn’t. We even tried the resort’s fine dining restaurant, expecting a much better experience, but it was just as disappointing as the other restaurants on the property. If there’s one area the resort should prioritize improving, it’s the dining experience. Great food is an important part of any vacation, and unfortunately, it fell far short of expectations during our stay.

Beautiful Discovery Samal

Loved the very friendly and attentive service we received from all the staff of Discovery Samal. Resort was a beautiful place to visit and relax in. The room was spacious, quiet, and very clean. We also loved the food and entertainment at Morning Catch. Will definitely be back.

It was a place that made me feel like I was in another country even though I am only within a few minutes boat ride away from the busy noisy city.
