Staff was very friendly. Breakfast needs more variety. The outside pool & garden are very basic & can use some design upgrade. There is no private beach, it’s public, so keep that in mind. There are no elevators for going up the rooms (in case you have someone who can’t get up stairs). But thanks to the staff who tried to make our stay as best as they can.

Hotel Mare is located within just few steps from a public beach, and within a 10 minute walk from Datca center, so its location is great. The facility is clean, and has ample parking available, which is a great plus. However, the rooms are rather basic for the prices they charge. Breakfast is included, which is the standard Turkish “Serpme” (spread - which essentially means buffet style). While their breakfast is heads and shoulders above even the best continental / hot breakfast you will find in Europe or the US, it is below the standards of a decent Turkish Serpme breakfast. While there is good variety, the items themselves are the lower cost versions of their better quality counterparts (e.g. lower quality cheeses and cold cuts, super cheap mass produced packaged jams, etc. ). The facility has a pool, which is relatively small (but who needs a pool when you have crystal clear refreshing turquoise waters of the Aegean just a few steps away). The hot water is provided by solar panels, which is common in Aegean Türkiye, but the system here takes forever for the water to warm up (we waited as long as over 10 minutes). By the facade and outer looks, it looks - and costs - as a premium place, but when you peel of the outer layer, the corner cutting and the cheap construction, relatively poor quality of breakfast becomes obvious. There are also maintenance issues. In summary, it is a decent hotel, but their cost (at relatively high $200+/day, is not justified in our opinion.

Sehr gut geführtes Hotel mit hervorragend ausgebildetem Personal. Alle Mitarbeitenden waren sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet. Wenn man möchte, kann man in wenigen Schritten das Meer erreichen. Eigene Liegen am Strand hat das Hotel zwar nicht, aber das ist überhaupt nicht schlimm, da auf dem Hotelgelände ausreichend Liegen zum Sonnenbaden vorhanden sind. Duschen gibt es ebenfalls im Hotelgarten. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Vielen lieben Dank! ❤️

Muhteşem bir otel. Datça Hastane Altı’nın en güzel yerinde. Denize sıfır bir konumda. En önemlisi de halı gibi çimleri olan palmiyeler altındaki geniş bahçesinde şezlongunuzda güneşlenip veya dinlenip, on adımda denize girebilmeniz. Böylece sandalyede oturarak denize girmekten kurtuluyorsunuz. Beş yıldır Datça’ya tatile gelirim. Her koyunda, her yerinde denize girdim. Otelin önündeki deniz gerçekten çok güzel. Çalışanlar çok genç ve çok saygılılar. İnanılmaz tatlı insanlar. Datça Cumhuriyet meydanına yürüyerek dokuz yüz metre kadar uzaklıkta. Ben ve ailem bu yürüyüşe bayılıyoruz. Ancak yürümekle ilgili sıkıntınız varsa oteldeki yemekler son derece pahalı ve bizce bu otelin tek kötü yanı. Çok geniş bir otopark alanı var. Odalar eviniz rahatında ve temizliğinde. Açık büfe kahvaltısı çok çeşitli ve sağlıklı. Biz sanırım yine burada tatil yapacağız.

Tam bir butik aile oteli, kafa dinlemek isteyen ve Datça nın merkezine yürüyüş mesafesinde konaklama yapmak isteyenler için çok güzel bir otel. Geniş temiz bahçe alanı ve denize sıfır konumda olması ayrı bir avantaj. Tek sıkıntı yeme içme fiyatları daha uygun olsa idi dışarıya göre biraz pahalı kalıyor.

6 günlük sorunsuz bir tatil deneyimi yaşadık. Eğer hem merkeze yakın olmak hem de merkezin gürültüsünden uzak olmak istiyorsanız otelin konumu muhteşem. Çalışan arkadaşlar güler yüzlü ve çok yardımcı. Havuz alanı hariç kocaman bir çim alana sahip o yüzden rahatlıkla kafa dinleyebiliyorsunuz. İlk kez gittiğimiz bir oteldi bundan sonra kesinlikle tekrar tercih edeceğimiz bir otel, teşekkür ediyoruz tekrardan kendilerine.
