Other than a young man with black hair and beard at the check-in desk, the staff didn't know how to smile and couldn't care less if we stayed there or not. I was surprised to hear I needed to pay for parking. My mistake - It's clearly mentioned in on the Expedia site I used to book my stay. Instead of simply telling me "I know, it sucks you have to pay, but we're less expensive than any other hotel near downtown", she simply said do you want to stay or not? I said I would like to cancel if that's an option. She said "Sure, you can cancel." I said okay and she said "I'll cancel, but you won't get a refund. Do you want to cancel?" Sure, I want to cancel and not get a refund - yea right! The next day, I asked a different lady at the desk how to get to the Hall of Fame Museum. She gave me mickey-mouse directions that were not clear at all. Fortunately, the valet gentleman was very helpful and told us exactly the right way to get where we wanted to go. Those two women at the desk ruined our stay. Fortunately, the staff at the bar/restaurant and valet gentleman were great. The breakfast was good, but the staff spent most of their time gabbing amongst each other and didn't interact with the guests.

They put me in room 219 and there is a very loud exhaust that runs all night. The Bathroom door looked like the bathroom flooded and the bottom of the door was swollen and probably holding horrible bacteria. I get that it’s old but that door should have been changed.

Great property. I had a nice upper floor room with a great view of the city. The restaurant on site is nice. I had a mixed experience with the front desk due to an untrained staff member who couldn't think outside of the box, but overall it was a great stay and I'd return here.

Everything was great! The host’s communication was amazing, constantly checked in and made us feel very welcome! The place is very clean and great! Very close to broadway! Easy check in and check out process
