“We had an excellent stay , the cottage was well equipped and had a beautiful large secure garden for our two dogs. The views from the cottage we’re stunning. The hosts were excellent , they were friendly and helpful and answered questions very quickly. The cottage is a short drive from the local pub and the river which our dogs loved playing in. “Excellent property….vey well managed, beautifully presented, very clean and functional. Staff were extraordinary with a particular shout out to Mel who went above and beyond to make us welcome and is a beautiful cook as well. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this property. 5 stars is not enough.”

“Great place to stay, great breakfast, would definitely stay again.”

“Era bastante ruidosa, no nos importaba que fuera un poco vieja, pero la ducha estaba rota, el secatoallas también y falta de actualización en general. Olía mal el pasillo y habitaciones y las toallas. Hubiera merecido la pena pagar más y haber estado más cómoda en otro hotel. ”

“Beautiful, comfortable and cosy room in lovely location. We felt at home. Excellent breakfast”

“This is an excellent small boutique B&B. Full of charm and character. Very well maintained and clean. Owners kept themselves to themselves other than the welcome. Lovely breakfast. Very organised. Would definitely stay again so would recommend to others.”

“Staff very rude”

“All round good facilities, parking, cleanliness and food”

“Als Geschäftsreisender auf der Durchreise war es in Ordnung. Das Hotel ist auch schon in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstück war frisch gemacht und sehr lecker”

“The room was tidy and clean but a little tired in places , possibly due to a busy season. Breakfast was excellent , food in the bar was very good and prices were competitive . The ambience in the bar was good. The quiz was good fun. Excellent nights sleep . Overall very good”

“Lovely host and breakfast. Room was perfect for a 2 night stay.”

“Great location for the celebration we were attending. Lovely host really friendly. A fab stay”

“Nice quiet location. Ample parking. Cozy and clean room. Handy local pub, shop and butchers across the road. Good freshly cooked breakfast.”

“Very friendly owners, liked the history of the house.”

“Lovely hotel in the centre of Taunton. We had a spacious, well-appointed room on the third floor with a nice view of the town. The hotel is an older building with lots of historic details / decor so it has a nice vibe. Daily room service kept everything clean and fresh and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is amazing: steps from the high street shops, cafes and pubs - you can't beat it. We'd definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again next time were in Taunton.”

“Lovely old millhouse hotel. Clean, comfortable rooms. All of the staff were super friendly, really good quality fresh ingredients for breakfast, all for a fabulous price!”
