“Basic things that were neglected or done poorly 1) no pre check in email was received resulting in us being stuck outside the property as we were not informed of the access code to gain entry into the property. Imagine being caught in a situation when you had 4 cars backed up behind you and you couldn’t get in - enough said 2) no air conditioning in the rooms and the windows can’t be open. Rooms are hot, stuffy and poorly ventilated- would have been helpful to have that piece on information on...

The location on the lake is stunning, the bar/restaurant is wonderful with delicious food including tofu parmi for veggies, the bottle shop has excellent options and the staff is fun and friendly! The rooms aren't fancy, the furniture a bit sun bleached/older but clean, quiet, and comfortable. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend. ”

Bed heaters, soft floors, firepit supplies, Real coffee! I booked as a surprise for my camping husband who instantly fell in love and enjoyed every second of it! “La cama es cómoda y tiene esterillas eléctricas. Esperábamos encontar una habitación en mucho peor estado, pero nos sorprendió, aunque lis muebles son antiguos , todo está muy limpio. El personal es amable y no está a mucha distancia del centro. La única pega es que cierra a las 20h la recepción.... También hay que pensar que a partir de esta hora poco queda abierto en el pueblo.”

“We stayed in the Ironstone room, which was large, homely and had a great view of Cradle Mountain. It was easy to check in and very friendly staff. We booked the tomahawk steak dinner and it did not disappoint! The light breakfast consists of Muesli and yoghurt which was also a nice start to the day. We would highly recommend staying here and wish we had longer!”

“A basic room, but very clean and maintained. However, there was a problem with the shower having no facilities for putting in shampoo, soap, etc., and only one cake of soap was provided for a two-night stay. Also, we booked and paid for a deluxe, downstairs room, but were upstairs, which made it very difficult for my wife, who has mobility problems. The stairwell closest to the restaurant did not have a working light, which was a problem once the night arrived”

“Such a brillaint place to stay. Was a freezing, rainy and windy day when we arrived. We entered the room which was clean and tidy with comfy pillows. Turned the oil heater on which warmed the room up quick smart and had the tempreture remain the same. Great place”
