The hotel is old but is right next to the brand new DREAMS which is super modern and nice. The food at all the restruants is AMAZINGLY GREAT. it does not have a/c in all the restaurants, hallways or reception area. The rooms are super cold. The beach is beautiful.

Lovely resort. Excellent for Cozumel. Guests needed to remember that the island is never going to be as luxurious as the mainland. You’re there for the incredible views and clear waters, right? The staff is an absolute delight. Fun and friendly, chill and helpful. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Property was beautiful, Room was sufficient, comfortable bed, great shower. Did have little visitors (ants) in the bathroom from time to time. Food was ok, portions way too small. Ate at the buffet for most meals. Wait staff was great. Pascal, Francesco and the other staff in the lobby were a 10/10 and deserve a steak dinner and a raise. Beach was beautiful, no seaweed. Pools were clean, bars were well stocked.

We enjoy Secrets Aura, this was our second trip here. Our first, we got married on the pier so we do have some emotional connections. However, for the price you can't beat it. Drinks are good, employees are great. My only complaint is the resort only has 2 restaurant's open at a time and the wait times can be a little much.

I think the hotel itself needs a little touching up. More excursions could be added to the island. The smell of the water at the hotel needs to be looked at. The resort needs a lot of maintenance and upkeep. It had a strong mold odor in my room. The front staff was not as helpful as I have experienced while staying at other Secrets resorts. The cleanest and best part of the resort was the spa. The staff there was very friendly and accommodating. Also, the bartenders at the swim-up bars were not that friendly at all. They did not engage with you or ask about your stay or where you were from. The restaurants would close sporadically and not have any really good reason for not being open. It was difficult finding a good place to eat some nights. There was not much for evening entertainment and places seem to close early. I would not go back to this resort again nor would I recommend it.
