The property itself was beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly, and helpful. Our room was cleaned daily, and the property was well maintained. All around the food was good, and the views from the pool were amazing. Would definitely return.

The resort is well maintained, clean, large rooms/bathrooms, and has a nice beach with snorkeling. We enjoyed our stay there. The only problem is the buffet in the La Posada restaurant which the food was horrendous. The other restaurant options were excellent.

Been here 3 times before and this trip the buffet and pizza has gone down hill. Staff was very friendly and restaurants had amazing food. Hard to get into. Resort was understaffed. Only way to go is VIP package. Main pool was clean and refreshing, not cloudy water. Room service dishes were left outside for 2 days and the animals had made a mess of them. Room was clean and had prompt room service and house keeping. Restrooms were clean in pool areas. Not sure if we will be back.

We liked the property a lot. The staff was very kind and helpful whenever needed. I love that you have a life guard at the ocean / pool area. I would suggest conditioner in the shower since it does have shampoo. We had a wonderful time.

Hotel was fine. We did had a troublesome start; we requested a room with 1 king bed, they told us they didn't had any, so we were assigned a 2 bed room. When we went into our room, there was someone in there: seems they made a mistake assigning our room and we had to go back to get another one which, suprisingly, had a king bed. Once we got through that everything was fine. Food from the buffet is between okay and meh, tho the restaurants have some really good options. Beach was clean and beautiful, tho in the bigger swimming pool, ppl didn't seem to follow rules: sometimes there was someone smoking on a supposedly smoke-free area, and sometimes we had ppl with they own speakers playing their music (even tho there was some loud one from the hotel). No one seemed to care much about that, which was weird. Overall, good quality-budget hotel.

Beautiful gardens and rooms are spacious. Aging furniture and a few upkeep issues. Requested safe to be opened first day as it was locked and unusable-requested 3 times-still not fixed all week. Drawer door was rotten and fell off. Curtain rods falling off and no hot water in shower. Buffet was really bad. The specialty restaurants were good.

The staff was amazing and super accommodating. My son is a celiac so buffets are always tricky to navigate or no-gos in general so when I let them know about his condition the staff prepared celiac safe food for him. The room was spacious and clean. The facilities were very nice. Would stay here again.

The rooms are looking worn and there was damage to quite a few of them and guests needed to be moved as ceilings fell in after a rain. The food was mediocre, and difficult to book into the specialty restaurants (which never looked busy) because you can only register during certain hours. If you are there to dive, you are not available during those hours, so its the general restaurant every night. Staff is friendly and very hard working. Bartenders are generous. The adult pool seemed to not be filtering well and was pretty dirty the entire week I was there. On the positive side, lots of lounge chairs, two pools and beach options so something for everyone. Beds are comfortable, airconditioners work well, and property is overall very clean.

Our 7th stay at this resort! Food is horrible, yes even the Royal Club! If you’re a burbon drinker, good luck, most all liquor is bottom shelf! Take your own cup for drinks, I was served in dirty glasses several times. Management don’t have a clue on food & drink and won’t listen to your suggestions at all. Main dinning room did not have a/c and no open air so you melt as you try to eat! It’s a nice location and a great beach and the employees maintain very well. It is in need of full renovation, so show up with lower expectations! 20 years ago this was a top notch property in Cozumel and it could be again with new management but sadly I’m sure it never will!

We were left to figure most things out ourselves. The food was sad and most of the time cold. The grounds are very spread out. Pretty sure I reserved an ocean side room…all we could see were trees and the next building. We signed up for the “glass bottom boat” snorkel excursion apparently that doesn’t actually mean the boat is glass bottomed. The staff was nice but not very helpful. The best part was the beach

I would say the food was average. Michael and Maria on the front desk were so helpful and kind. The maid for our room was excellent. Overall the Hotel is so pretty and staff kind and courteous. Entertainment every evening. Easy to hire rental car from Hotel. Recommended.

The Royal level manager, Itzel, went out of her way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. While the food at the resort is not 5-star (compared to other resorts we've been to), there was always something we enjoyed eating.

The rooms were clean and the bed was actually very comfortable. The grounds were beautiful, well maintained amd taken care of. The staff was very friendly. The service was good, but very. The buffet at lunch was horrible. Options were small and didn't ever really look appetizing. Breakfast was decent. However, just because they open at a certain time doesn't mean everything will be available. Breakfast at 7:00, but you might want to wait until 7:30 if you want anything other than toast, fruit or yogurt. Dinners were decent. We probably won't come back and definitely wouldn't bring our young adult kids or other family here.
