“The Waterwheel Inn was exceptional. We had a garden suite which opened straight out onto the amazing gardens and a small double room. Both were decorated nicely and kept clean. Breakfast was served in the lovely conservatory and was excellent with good choices and nice touches like home-made jams and granola. We ate in the restaurant for dinner several times and had great food every time. Staff were helpful whilst being unobtrusive. Our only suggestion is to advertise the vegan options better as...

“The rooms were very clean. The bed was very hard so if you like a soft bed this won’t do. The breakfast on both mornings were very poor burnt toast served with over cooked bacon. On the first morning hash browns left off the order. Ordered poached eggs on toast given one egg on a piece of toast nothing along side it to dress the plate very sad looking. “This pub was a great stop for us following a day of walking the SWCP. Very peaceful even though it is a pub. It is approximately 1 mile from Perranunthnoe, and SWCP. Bus 2 runs from right outside so ideal for connections to Penzance and Porthleven. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.”
