Nothing fancy going on here, but it’s clean and safe and within walking distance of good coffee and beer. Our kid is at OSU, and its adjacency to Corvallis is nice, especially since staying in Corvallis is way overpriced. It’s our go to when in the area.

The picture shows a coffee pot and coffee. It no longer has that I expected the property to be a little nicer, but it was pretty rundown. Maybe there were some flowers out there I can say, though that it was quiet at night didn’t have any noise. The AC in the room and the fan, even though it had a low medium height only had a low setting, but it was able to cool us off quite well. The floor needs to be mopped better and we had to ask for a toilet paper roll and the shampoo conditioner things they give you barely have anything so it was fine. I feel like it was overpriced for what we got, but there wasn’t a lot of options in town. It was fine for one night stay for us.

I recently stayed at the Galaxie while in town for OSU graduation. This is not typically where I stay when I come to town, however, due to the high demand of lodging, Galaxie was our option. I was pleasantly surprised at the well kept grounds upon arrival and clean, updated room. Cleaning services were friendly and accommodating.

The hotel was extremely clean in a very quiet and peaceful area. It exceeded my expectations because the images show that it’s an older motel and given that we booked it as a last resort, worked out perfectly! I noticed that the exterior is well kept with beautiful flowers and no dust or cobwebs in sight. We’d gladly stay there again.
