Loved staying IN the park. Paid for the deluxe view and we were not disappointed. Wish there were more options for dinner (the lounge menu was limited). Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

Far View Lodge is a very relaxing, comfy & quiet property in Mesa Verde National Park. View from room was great. Room itself is very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed exploring the park at night and star gazing from the Cafe terrace. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing stay I would highly recommend

Room was as advertised. Clean. Bathroom was clean but small and toilet was very low to the ground. Walls are thin. Restaurant was good and convenient for being so far away from town. Staff was polite.

The room was in poor condition: sink handles fell off, toilet flushing was questionable, free WiFi was spotty at best, coffee pot leaked, no TV. Breakfast is not free. There is a dining room which offers 3 expensive meals. There is a lounge, with more reasonable prices but the food was just ok. The view is beautiful though. The room did have a small balcony which was nice.

Really good view inside the national park. Taking a walk in the evening , watching stars at the balcony. I would stay again when visiting Mesa Verde N.P. next time. note: no microwave in room. sound insulation was a bit weak but not a major issue for me because I usually bring ear plugs during a trip.

Great view and fairly comfortable beds, very friendly staff. However, food choices are limited due to location— you’re stuck with either hamburgers in the lounge (which were okay, not great), to the expensive Metate Room Restaurant— where they serve wilted salads and lukewarm hot dishes and take forever to serve it. Staff are friendly but seem powerless. The Lodging facilities could definitely do with updating, especially the plumbing! This place used to be so special— but I doubt I will go there again.

The rooms were clean and functional. ARA operates the property now and the food and service was awful. They were definitely understaffed. It was an adventure trying to find a working ice machine. We stopped at 5 buildings before we were able to get ice.

This facility is old and could use some updates. That being said, it is very quaint and comfortable. However, the price is on the higher side. You have to drive to get ice, and to get to the front desk. There is a restaurant on site, but nothing the average person could afford. Cheapest thing on the menu is oatmeal @ $12. Was fun to see the feral horse and the mule deer. I contacted the hotel because I left something behind, but got no response.

it's in the middle of the park, it's above cabin camping in my eyes so with that said it is great location in order for you to check out the cave dwellings we did 3 tours and some on our own. you only need 2 days to do the park

Good place to stay if you are touring Mesa Verde Ruins as it is directly in the park. Very convenient to stay here. AC in room wasn’t great but the rooms was clean. There was no TV In the room. On Wednesday evenings they have live music on the terrace so that was nice!
