Traveling with my grandson. Check-in was quick and easy and the woman at the desk was helpful, personable, and efficient. Our room was very clean and very spacious. Not a deal breaker for us, but no elevator to our second floor room. May be a deal breaker for some, be sure to ask for an accessible room if you can’t do stairs. Wi-fi was good, TV worked. The location is good, very easy to find, near a couple of gas stations with food. Would stay here again for a clean place to rest our heads!

First off, all the staff I interacted with were absolutely wonderful. They were all very friendly and professional. The hotel is old and looks run down from the outside, especially the parking lot, however, the actual room we stayed in had been updated and was decently clean. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in close proximity to Darien Lake, which was convenient. The main complaint I had is that during our visit, the roof was being replaced which created a lot of excess noise. We understand that things like this have to be done, however, it was quite disruptive as they worked quite late into the evening. I would’ve chosen a different hotel had I known this work was taking place.

Stayed this past weekend for a concert. Unfortunately we couldn't check in early however the staff was very helpful. We were able to take care of everything prior to the show so getting back was a breeze. Hotel was pretty outdated but for the price and convenience it was great for us. They even offer shuttle service to the venue for small fee. The food truck in the parking lot after the concert was a great bonus too! I would stay again if traveling for anymore shows!

This property has clear signs of neglect. The exterior carpeting by entrance was ragged and torn. When we arrived a massive rainstorm had just passed. Our room had a large puddle on the floor near the wall that we could not determine the source. We saw no evidence of a leak. We did notify housekeeping and they immediately dried it. The room floor was vinyl flooring, not carpet. When checking in we were handed bottled water, which was nice. We later discovered why. The water from the faucets came out brown. We were not warned about this nor advised not to drink it. The staff was accommodating, but the property is a never book again. I am surprised it had a 7.8 rating.

Excellent experience

Stay at Econ lodge was like a home away from home. Highly recommend this hotel. Staff made us like family and accepted our dog cooper like he was one of theirs. Will definitely be back when we travel the area again
