All the staff are first rate and always helpful and accommodating. The food is good with breakfast being particularly excellent. As you might expect the wine & water can be pricey. For us though, there is one major drawback which is the obtrusive background music at the restaurants (even at breakfast) but particularly at the pools. Think twice about coming here if you want the quiet fly and flop type holiday by the pool. Background music should be unobtrusive so you can read undisturbed, sleep, or listen to your own sounds without having to turn it up, even on noise cancelling earbuds, just to drown out the music. The hotel has got it into their heads that we want to listen to dodgy cover versions of songs all day. My advice is to make the larger pool across the road a silent location. Background music must be low so that it disappears when you want to talk. I asked the management to turn the music down, which they did a bit, but off would have been better. So, we resigned ourselves to getting up at 6, breakfast at 7 just so we could get a sun bed in the lovely quiet olive tree gardens by the beach. More sun beds and umbrellas are needed there and enforcing the sun bed policy would help. Laundry superb, room make-up missed once. No towel rails to hang towels inside. Not a five star feel with white towels looking tired not brilliantly fluffy white, stains and cat hair on the sofas, the wooden floor making your feet black giving a slightly icky feel to the venue at times.
