It was a boutique hotel. Train themed. Very authentically decorated. The staff was wonderful. Friendly, helpful…. They offered complimentary bagels and muffins and cereal along with coffee, tea, milk, juice and a nice choice of snacks. Very relaxed atmosphere. Made us feel right at home. I would recommend to anybody ne. Also plenty of parking. Within walking distance of main attractions, shops, and restaurants.
We stayed in the Railroad Inn for one night last August and two nights this August, and are impressed with the clean room, helpful staff, breakfast cereals, and ample parking. Best of all is the location, a short walk from the Baseball Hall of Fame. We strongly recommend the Railroad Inn in Cooperstown, NY.
The hotel was in a good location. It was close to Baseball Hall of Fame and also near the Cooperstown Dream park Our grandson was playing there so that was important. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Desk staff were very friendly.
Super cute property. Very clean & comfortable. While a little pricey it's proximity to downtown Cooperstown & the Baseball Hall of Fame made that worth it.
Great stay! Staff was friendly and welcoming. This old railroad station was turned into a beautiful modern hotel. It is in a quiet area nice outdoor areas for relaxing.
A short walk to the baseball hall of fame.
We went as a couple just to see the Baseball Hall of Fame. We had no idea how many things there are here! The staff at the hotel advised us of all the things around us and the history of the town. Our hotel was a short walk from EVERYTHING in either direction. The amount of details regarding Railroads in the Railroad Inn was INCREDIBLE! I have a real love of trains and this hotel does not disappoint! So clean! Snacks and beverages available all night long. A nice place to kick back like a B&B either inside or outside. Also deer all night long steps from the door. So cool for these hardened city folk!
This is the perfect place to visit when you come to Cooperstown. Close to the downtown area. Nice boutique hotel. Free breakfast. Can’t recommend enough .
The staff was welcoming. The breakfast items and snacks were much appreciated. No cost. Located in a quiet area of town and within walking distance to the Hall of Fame. Also, great deli only a block away. Would definitely stay there again.
The staff was very friendly, the room was beautiful and clean, right in the middle of everything! Would recommend to anyone staying in Cooperstown and would definitely go back!
A nice surprise from our usual hotel rooms. Nice, quiet, and staff were friendly. Cooperstown is a beautiful town and home of the baseball hall of fame which was our primary reason for being there. Highly recommend the Railroad Inn

Quiet, clean and close to the Main Street, including the Baseball Hall of Fame, and good restaurants. Wonderful staff! Staying here was a great idea.
The rooms were well appointed, spacious, and clean. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The old railroad building was interesting. We enjoyed the peaceful setting. We also enjoyed 24 hour access to snacks, fruit, and coffee and bottled water.
