What an incredible hotel! This is a must stay if you are in Columbia, SC. The location is super convenient to downtown points of interest; the staff is the best! A beautiful hotel, super clean and trendy. We loved the concept and we would definitely stay here again. Loved everything about it!

If 10 stars were available, I would gladly select. This unique property is in a great location, well maintained and overall a fantastic find. The staff welcomed us and seemed genuinely happy to assist. The location was close to Gervais which had amazing options for shopping and dining. Our room was immaculate, the bedding and bed itself were very comfortable and the décor was inviting. It was a very pleasant surprise to have a coffee/water station on each floor. I would definitely recommend The Lantern Hotel to anyone who is traveling to the area. You will not be disappointed.

Stayed with family for 1 night on the way from Ohio to Hilton Head. Everything was perfect. Easy check in, easy valet parking. Rooms are brand new and clean. Onsite dining was also great. Up scale and modern at a reasonable price. Gambled it would be nicer than similarly priced hotels outside of town and was correct. You won’t regret staying at The Lantern.

The property was very well maintained and clean. Drew checked us in and do so quick and efficient. He was such a pleasant guy. And very friendly and welcoming too!! Carlos was an awesome bartender. He was so talkative and friendly. He was very welcoming. Will definitely be back to stay when visiting my daughter at the University of South Carolina.

The hotel had the cutest vibe in the old firestation. We didn’t have a tv controller and the soap in the shower wouldn’t work, but other than that the stay was great, the bed was comfy, the hangout areas were awesome and the breakfast was yummy!

Outstanding hotel! Super nice staff, wonderful sleek design and lots of amenities (gym 24/7, water and coffee machines, mini fridge, restaurant and bar). Such a pleasant stay, we couldn't wish for anything better! We are travelling with a toddler and they had a nice place in the back to offload a car and you can then either do valet ($30) or do street parking (free 7pm-9am). Also walking distance to so many bars and restaurants!
