“This is real gem, hidden away in the Devon countryside, at the end of long private driveway - with rather too many deep potholes, a danger to your car's tyres and suspension. Once you're there you get get a warm welcome - all of the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms are quite spacious. and the beds are very comfortable. Dining is a speciality, and though the portions may seem small to some, they are beautifully prepared and presented, preceded by tempting amuse-bouches served...

Nicky provided clear directions to the Tarka Trail path where we viewed the sweet scent of bluebells. Highly recommended. Will definitely stay again.”

“The Inn was clean and tidy, room was nice and the dogs had a welcome pack. Staff friendly, food was lovely and catered for gluten and dairy free. I took my own lactose free milk. Breakfast wide choice. The only thing which would have been an added bonus was to have some grass or astro turf for the dogs to use. There was no grassed area in easy walking distance that we found.”
