This historic landmark may have limits due to its age but the location and old west charm make up the difference. Easy parking, welcoming staff and great location make this a good stop in Cody!

What a wonderful quirky place to stay. Our room was on the front of the property looking over the main street (not noisy at all considering Sturgis was on). Fantastic food in the restaurant (buffet was top notch).

We loved our stay! We stayed in one of the historic rooms, which was very spacious, and everyone agreed the beds were really comfortable. We enjoyed both lunch and breakfast at the restaurant, and both meals were great. The bar was fun and inviting, too! This is a historic motel with character and uniqueness, not a modern, updated propert, and that’s exactly what we loved about it! If you appreciate history and places with charm, you’ll love it here. If you’re looking for a fancy, modern motel, this may not be the place for you. Our family will absolutely stay here every time we come to Cody!

We stayed a few nights in a historic room at the Irma Hotel. The hotel itself had so much character & felt like we were transported back in time. The room was clean with modern fixtures but Q bed a little worn. At the rate offered, was expecting a newer, more comfortable one. Enjoyed seeing all the authentic memorabilia in the main dining room. Walking distance to cute shops & eateries on the main street. A memorable experience.

Loved this historical hotel in Cody. It was clean, very roomy and even had a historic toilet. In the middle of all the stores, had a gun show in the street and the rodeo was right down the road.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Irma Hotel. I stayed in one of the historic rooms, and it was incredible to see how well maintained everything is after all these years. There is something very special about walking into a place with so much history and feeling like you are stepping into the past, then walking right back into the present. It made the stay feel unique and memorable.

We stayed 2 nights with our grandchildren. Everyone enjoyed the charm and character of the Irma. Dinner was delicious (ribs) and the staff were friendly. Sadly, there was no gunfight because of a shortage of characters. Fun stay, would do it again!

We stayed at the Irma over twenty years ago and were happy to go back. The beautiful cherry wood bar is still there but is now part of the overall dining room where you can eat at the bar. There is a saloon/bar set up in the original hotel lobby. We enjoyed the buffet dining option along with a regular menu for breakfast/lunch/dinner. We did the buffet for both breakfast and dinner and all the food selections were delicious. I find a buffet usually emphasizes quantity over quality but here at the Irma the quality was definitely there. Our group had rooms in the original part of the hotel and the furnishings and rooms are beautiful. We looked up "ghosts at the Irma" to get information on those stories; I'm surprised the Irma doesn't spotlight that for guests. And I do feel that guests should be told up front when booking that there is no elevator, and no apparent staff to help with luggage. One in our group saw a guest struggling with her suitcase on only the second step and offered to bring it up. If we ever get back to Cody we will definitely stay at the Irma!
